Do Over Challenge Blog Hop

This challenge is all about “before and after.” I sent out a piece of my old, tired jewelry to each participant and asked them to revive it.

Jamie and Donna don’t have a blog so I happily posted their Do Over pieces for them.  They did not send any information, so I just posted the pictures.

This one is from Jamie.

This one is from Donna.  She made the necklace into a bracelet.

BEFORE

AFTER

This one is mine. I happen to love multi-strand necklaces, so I actually had to think twice about this before I dismantled the necklace. Even though it’s in desperate need of a Do Over.

BEFORE

The button I made with polymer clay and custom blended acrylic paint to match the beads; AB Czech faceted beads in a beautiful red.

I love the leather wrapped bracelet! It is fun to see how your jewelry making talent has expanded! Thanks for a fun challenge! I realized after finishing my necklace that I was determined to use the beads in a specific way, even though it just wasn’t working. After thinking about the beads I received a bit more, I thought up new ways to use them that I think will be successful. Stay tuned for Do Over II!
