Welcome to my blog. I hope you all had a relaxing, and pleasant Memorial Day.
Our Fearless leader Cindy thought it would be a great idea to make a piece of statement jewelry as a tribute to the Bead and Button Show. I love it!
This is my tribute/statement piece to the Bead and Button Show.
Here is my Alice in Wonderland Bracelet. I made the red polymer clay roses and resin charms. This one I made last year and this is the first time I posted it.
Most days my attire will be scrubs or fitness wear. The picture below is my causal style. The pearl necklace I made is a statement piece that looks great with my J. Crew sweater and jeans.
Big thanks to my friend Betsy for creating this picture collage for me. I have no clue how to do this and my eyes glaze over if she tries to explain it to me.
Please, Please check out the other statement pieces on these blogs. You’ll be happy you did. I hope I didn’t miss anyone.

I love it! I love the gold and the outfit collage. A real tour de force! Bravo! Thanks for jumping in and trying out the statement necklace challenge! :-)
I took a walk through Blogland and found great artists plus some great necklaces. Thanks for sharing the links!
Great necklace and wonderful presentation. I love all the different possibilities for attire. Very creative interpretation of the challenge.
Ooooooh, very VERY pretty! I love it Jeannie!
I absolutely love the Alice in Wonderland bracelet! It’s beautiful.
I love both pieces! The statement necklace is wonderful!
It looks like you used buttons on that necklace! How appropriate for a bead and button tribute piece!
Wonderful post, and really enjoyed seeing what you have made!
Beautiful, and appropriately honoring all of the summer garden beauty. Nicely done!
The Tribute piece is stunning & the Alice In Wonderland piece is amazingly fun… love them both!
